After pausing production, she found herself with an enormous collection of textiles – many plucked from her archive, with others collected from esteemed houses and ateliers across France and Italy. Confronted with the amount of waste that already existed in the industry, she was adamant that her next step would be a meaningful one, so decided to repurpose them the Berber way. Alongside Moroccan craftswomen and generational shoemakers, she creates boucherouite rugs and slippers that put the accent on the art of the hand touch. Every piece and pair promotes a slow, seasonless approach while shouting about the beautiful, noble process of Moroccan handiwork.
