Architect Josef Frank designed The Knot of Friendship candle holder—or, as it’s also known, Vänskapsknuten—as a symbol of friendship and peace following his departure from Austria in 1933. The production process takes place at Humstorp Metal in Västergötland, which requires several steps from artisanal craftspeople.
