Architect Josef Frank designed The Knot of Friendship candle holder—or, as it’s also known, Vänskapsknuten—as a symbol of friendship and peace following his departure from Austria in 1933. The production process takes place at Humstorp Metal in Västergötland, which requires several steps from artisanal craftspeople. Please note, this item is a truly original vintage piece with slight imperfections and distinctive characteristics that add to its charm and celebrate its unique history.
